Two more charged in burglary ring that plundered Alaska MacStore

Two men who police say were involved in a burglary ring that hit local businesses were arrested this week.

James Marquis, 20, of Wasilla, and Xoua Yang, 21, of Anchorage, were charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief.

The men are accused of breaking into a computer store on May 10 and stealing more than $75,000 worth of goods, along with co-conspirators Trevor Morin-Martinez, 21; Reginald Roark, 22; and Kyle Dwiggins, 20. Morin-Martinez, Roark and Dwiggins were arrested and charged in June. They were also charged with other commercial break-ins.

The five suspects are accused of burglarizing the Alaska MacStore by breaking into an adjacent business, then breaking through a wall to bypass the store’s alarm.

The ring then sold or bartered their goods.

Police are asking anyone who bought or traded any stolen merchandise related to this case to contact them at 786-8900.
