Myster writes a blog entry about Sarah Palin:
She’s not politically moderate. In fact, when it comes to social issues, Palin is almost as conservative as they come. In a 2006 gubernatorial debate, when asked to respond to a hypothetical situation in which her own daughter had been impregnated by a rapist, Palin responded immediately and unequivocally, “I’d choose life.†No discussion. (And no say in the matter for daughters Bristol, Willow or Piper, either.) In 2002, she sent a letter to Alaska Right to Life (the people who drive around town in a giant truck decorated with huge photographs of aborted fetuses) claiming to be as “pro-life as any candidate can be.†(She does say, however, that she’s pro-contraception.) She’s also opposed to gay marriage, and she supports teaching creationism in public schools. Oh, and climate change? It’s not a pressing issue in Sarah Palin’s universe. Woe betide ye, polar bear who stands in the way of progress.
Even better, she quotes my tweet:
And perhaps the most relevant question of all, from Roblef:
“If McCain gets elected and dies, and the vp takes over, will they finally ship to AK?â€
Hahahah. I crack myself up.
